Kodaka literally wasn’t the director for the bulk of the game. He did his routes first, handed it to Uchikoshi to direct the alt routes and writers, then when they were not going to make it unless Kodaka pitched in then he worked on alt routes.

Also kind of a sucky detail is there’s that graph someone made that shows his word count for 1st and 2nd scenario is a lot larger than the rest of the routes but he got to write those on his own time whereas everyone else had to write it on a time crunch.
