eito is a nagito-lite, exploring how someone like that could be brought down to earth and socialize with others. he's also much more of a LARP'er compared to nagito who is a horrifying presence

darumi is a tragicomic take on killing game fan, both the retardation and humanity combined in one character. she's good but a parody only goes so far and she doesn't feel as well presented as the other two

Retsnom I think shows that Kodaka is who we need to write character specific routes, which tracks since he made them in the first place he either knows what’s really up with them in his head or is able to come up with ways to elaborate on them. Considering Retsnom was due to being forced to help write routes towards the end that means his initial idea for Darumi was just the dumb one note joke stuff. I am curious if he had the idea for her faking it when he made her or if he decided to do that after the fact when he had to come up with a route.

Kodaka literally wasn’t the director for the bulk of the game. He did his routes first, handed it to Uchikoshi to direct the alt routes and writers, then when they were not going to make it unless Kodaka pitched in then he worked on alt routes.

Also kind of a sucky detail is there’s that graph someone made that shows his word count for 1st and 2nd scenario is a lot larger than the rest of the routes but he got to write those on his own time whereas everyone else had to write it on a time crunch.

If Kodaka hadn’t been forced by Uchikoshi to write some of the routes, CoT, Vehxness, Retsnom, Goodbye Eito, and Multiple Eitos wouldn’t exist. What a kusoge
