Nta but I never understood why people say primaris have "better proportions"

So many times I've seen
>the proportions are better because they're taller
Height isn't proportions.
But forgetting the people who use words they don't understand, it still doesn't make sense to me.

Primaris have huge boots, worse so than older marines, but the crux of the issue is the upper body: older marines had a big torso and big pauldrons, paired with the wide stance and boots it gave them a strong silouhette. But primaris marines? Their pauldrons are the same size, which makes them smaller proportionally, meaning that primaris have a "weaker" upper body. Coupled with the huge feet and busy design of redundant plates/layers, they don't convey the strength that old marines had.

So I ask: how are the proportions "better"? Is it just people taking issue with "non-realistic" poses to the point anything "realistic" is better to them, regardless of visual language/silouhette?
