he grew up poor so its probably the fanciest house dinner he's ever experienced. Shit, even before the event, when we first started dating he was in awe just by dinners because i have multiple dinner tables and actually sit down to use them. Apparently not only were dinner tables alien to him, but actually sitting down with people in the household to all eat at once wasnt a thing he got to experience
