Every MMO that uses the Unholy Trinity of dogshit class design suffers from the same issues that in order to have multiple classes/specs/builds do one of 3 generic roles equally, they have to be stripped down to the barrest essentials of those roles, which limits how interactive you can make a game.
This is why WOW and FFXIV are heavily reliant on ground swirlies and enrage timers because requiring players to use their niche class abilities to counter a boss mechanic is veiwed negatively by developers who use the unholy trinity as a crutch, and by brainlets who think that their number on a DPS meter makes them special when that number is just a representation of their item level and proficiency in pressing their buttons in the right order on a 0.5+ second GCD
