What pisses me off about Shiv is that he's supposed to be this very tanky and strong hero during teamfights. But, he's not any weaker during 1v1s. So what exactly is his weakness in those departments? The fact that he's got item counters? Every hero has item counters. Why does he get the benefit of both doing a ton of damage and surviving a lot, in fair fights or not? Characters even get voice lines that go, "I need help killing Shiv!", implying exactly that Shiv is supposed to be tank/disruptor that needs to be focused down. But what exactly is his disadvantage, then? Is it the focus itself? Anyone can be focused during a fight. Is it because his dash gets its cooldown cut during if he uses it on multiple people? With one level it still has a much shorter cooldown than other heroes' abilities that deal even less damage. Someone help me understand if I'm missing something?
