I keep seeing other oldfags get upset that the game doesn't resemble the refractor era games. Battlefield will never be that again. Those of us who started with 1942 to 2 haven't been the target audience in a decade.
The games are 20+ years old. The older, more tactical games are irrelevant, and a good chunk of the playerbase wasn't even born when BF3 came out. All they know is COD/Apex/Fortnite or whatever Roblox fps ripoff is fotm I'm not a groomer so I don't know.
My nephew is 14 and is currently screaming with his friends while playing on seige of cairo and you know damn well EA wants that gen alpha won't even think twice about spending 20 dollars on a skin money. Accept that BF3/4 is what we're getting at best and even then, with what we've been playing, it's more like BF3 and MW2019 had a kid.
