it has just been brought to my attention that they added a side quest to the game after you finish tenebris where you can see von leon finally die. since the black mage is dead, he's no longer forcibly sustaining von leon's immortality, so he immediately dies, and then his ghost is reunited with ifia and they start crying and embrace. wtf this is so cool and so sad. i love when nexon adds little lore things like this. it also makes me sad that von leon was so underutilized in the OG story but ah well
