Fun fact, this episode actually fixes an odd continuity blip from both the manga and anime.

This chapter is the debut of Shampoo's catchphrase 大歡喜, but while later instances would give it the furigana reading "daikanki" in the manga (the actual reading of these characters, though it's not a real Japanese word), this original appearance would instead give it the reading of "ureshii" (the actual Japanese equivalent). The original anime then had her say "Ranma, watashi ureshii" in this scene, but the remake corrects it to her actual daikanki catchphrase.
