bioshock 1 and infinite had decent enough gameplay, story kept me engaged, setting was pretty unique and interesting to me. i had fun with both games desu. the burial at sea was shit desu, just kind of thrown onto the end with the excuse of extending the story, but the story burial at sea was shit - like Elizabeth is effectively a time travelling immortal with some kind of partial omniscience over her own past and future - but uses this to track down the Zachary Comstocks in other timelines and kills them? Why? Spent her whole life dreaming of 80s Paris and now that she can live thereforever she choses to do this dumb shit?

Oh and did I mention that, with all these special powers, she goes back to Rapture because this one time in one timeline one version of herself accidentally killed one of the slug girls because in this timeline that was the correct way to bait out Comstock and kill him - so she merges all versions of herself into that timeline, effectively making herself mortal - and gets killed by some Rapture gangboss while trying to set it right? That is the dumbest shit. Killed off one of the very very few decent female characters in western video games.

OH and fuck: at the end of Infinite, THE whole reason she has to drown Booker (HER OWN FATHER AND ONLY FRIEND) at the baptism is because this is the only way to stop Booker DeWitt being baptised and becoming Zachary Comstock. So why is there still a Comstock alive in Rapture after this happens that she has to track down in Burial at Sea?

Burial at Sea as an utter piece of shit that ruined Bioshock 1 and Infinite.
