I was once took over the Orderly Room in the Army. My Platoon Sergeant gave me his leave form and the stack of requisite paperwork and also the bullshit unit forms required alongside the official forms. I took a minute to look it over to make sure everything was correct. Went to the 1SG for his signature. Immediately went to the Command for his signature. I then walked over to S1 (our version of HR) and asked the HR clerk for a control number for the leave form. Made a copy of it and dropped it off at staff duty for him to sign when he took his leave. Then brought a copy back to my office for safekeeping and redundancy. Logged his leave dates on the unit's business calendar. Then caught him in the hall and told him his leave was approved and good to go. He looked at me dumbfounded. This was all in under 30 minutes. Normally this process takes an average of a month. Worse, it can take up to 3 months in a shitty unit. Worst of all, the shittiest units will take 3 months and lose your leave form multiple times during the process, never tell you and ultimately tell you to cancel your vacation plans because you didn't get your leave approved. So he was flabbergasted this could all be done so quickly because the latter is what he was used to his whole Army career. I told him it could have been done in just 15 minutes if I had really wanted to hurry.
tl'dr dumb black HR bitches are lazy, stupid and worthless and tasks that take days can be done in minutes by people that know how to do their job and aren't lazy shitbags.
