I used to pay attention and be very excited about rape-
Then I read wolf guy. After 5 volumes of rape, rape in manga became "meh"

And was like that until I read Trash. Since then I'm not really into rape any more and I prefer if it doesn't happen at all.

Not that I dislike it, I actually quite enjoy it. But I learned rape is best contained into doujinshi and h-manga and not to be mixed with stuff that has proper story.
