I know this is a pretty late reply but its just more befitting to have world war weapons and COD WW2 was the best arsenal to fill in the gap for zombie chronicles since not everyone vibes with the futuristic junk. I dont think the futuristic weaponry was bad I actually kind of liked some of bo3 and bo4s guns but rocking an m16 or m1911 in some of the zombie maps feels way better.
