theres a fair few young people who were teens during the lockdowns at my work and it totally fucked them up, some did not set foot in a school between 14-16 and the normal ones are the ones who were able to just ignore the lockdowns otherwise and still socialised with mates
my boss has 5 kids and says his youngest, who was 11 at the time, is totally messed up. he lived in melbourne so it was even more harshly locked down than my town and now apparently its hard to get her out of the house anymore
obviously he reckons its because she spent all those years socialising entirely online and despite his best efforts she's just fucked because it was literally criminal for him to not let her 'go to school' on a computer so she grew up behind a screen
