There in lies the problem, streaming is a horrible format for star trek,the ever expanding convoluted multiverse extremely aging and hostile gatekeeping fandom, CBS/Paramount wanting blockbusters without proper investment. System fucked. But you still have that hard core set of fans who will still show up.

The budget wrecker episode along with Q Who which caused the Shades of Gray clip show. Also reminds me of how Q Who was the introduction for Sonya Gomez who was written to be a comic relief and romantic option for Le Forge, before getting dropped after her second appearance.
It was nice they brought her back as a captain in Lower Decks.
