A few years back I picked up one of those 1870s French Gras bayonet swords for about $300 and it's a fantastic little blade. Fast, light, and still very sharp despite its age. Nothing wrong with an antique sword if you can find one in decent condition. Probably still tougher than most of the chinkshit on the market today.
