None of these things make it "its own hobby".
You can make your life complicated, or use low odour resin (water washable comes to mind).

>/tg/ is full of LARPers that will try to talk you into setting up a printing station in your living room.

Mine is actually in the bathroom, because it has a built in ventilation system, and there is enough space and the floor is tiles, so spilling something is not a big deal there.

I couldn't care less if or where someone sets up his printing station, put it in your bedroom for all i care, but i really dont get it if people make such drama out of it because its oh so complicated. It fucking isnt. Its in your fucking head.
Head over to /3dpg/ and look for the printed tanks. Those are mine. I also posted some Necromunda terrain there, and painted pieces of it in /WIP/ during last week. Pic related is some OPR wood elves, which are a bit more related to this thread.
(Behind them, you can see my "curing station", which is just some resin pieces on a tissue laying on the balcony for a while)

I never printed a fucking cone of calibration or similar things, nor did i bother with any of the settings or details of the printer. Why would i? I use presupported models, slice them with settings for water washable (from google/elegoo website) and it just works.
To me, this is not a hobby, its a tool to make minis to play with them.

I dont even know what i could attempt to change on my printer to make it "better", because it just works.
