there are down the way a bit, i was scouting out some good spots for deer when the season comes around again. picture is facing the other way.

i saw a ground squirrel pop up and just stare at me. i thought about it because i have a license and its a non-game animal, but just watching it hilariously explode would be kinda sadistic

found some tracks and animal trails and put pins on my map for later. then saw a doe looking right at me 20 meters away, of course out of season. no permit. cant have anything yet >madface
