I live in a craftsman-style house built in 1921. All of the wiring was replaced sometime in the 1980’s (that is, it’s not aluminum or knob and tube). The plumbing is mostly copper with some pvc. All of the terracotta sewerage has been replaced. Point being, when something breaks, I can fix it (or hire one of any hundreds of companies that can, such as serious a/c work or something).

That’s part of owning a home. These pods are interesting, and neat looking, but without being easily serviceable they fail at a basic level.

I live in an RV. It’s much smaller than that but kinda has a similar layout. Much cheaper. I pay $300/month for full hookup. I deliver my mail to a PO Box down the road.
