The current Gyeongbokgung Palace was rebuilt by Heungseon Daewongun in 1864 and roof of Geunjeongjeon in early Joseon Gyeongbokgung Palace was covered with blue tiles (cheonggiwa)

The two photos show the following: the bottom photo is the unearthed roof tile remains at Gyeongbokgung, and the top photo shows Geunjeongjeon digitally recolored in Photoshop to match the colors of the broken tiles.
