Glass Door reviews for The Chinese Room make the following accusations.

When I look at the final version of Bloodlines 2, and its mixture of really good stuff, okay stuff, and straight up baffling stuff, those criticisms ring true. Bloodlines 2 is the kind of game where some of its design flaws can only really be explained by the people at the top levels of the studio being complete fucktards. The people under them are trying really hard, but it's a ship where the helmsman is drunk and also has anyone who questions his steering thrown overboard.

It really came and went with a whimper.

It's horrible but because of it there are multiple threads discussing VTM on the daily so everything is forgiven.
