I feel like I'm losing my mind here.
This was the winner of the 2025 May silver award for Mangaplus Shueisha, allowing it to be formally published on the website:
>Ridiculously mediocre on all fronts, especially compared to many contestants from different months and years that didn't even win a honorable mention.
>After some digging, the author didn't even draw the art, it was commissioned from a low profile artist on Reddit.
>Despite having significantly less views, likes, favorites, comments and engagement then the competitor below it (11th place) on the general rankings, it still for no reason at all clung onto 10th place against all odds, allowing it to be visible for formal evaluation
>And on top of all this, it also seems to be the only winner to have been personally commented on by judges in years, for seemingly no reason.
Don't tell me they even have psyop bullshit in the manga industry now, please. Please.
