nigger that implies there was a state here to begin with and sorry, there wasn't. the states at the time were almost completely abandoned, native Americans were losing thousands every year, basically endangered species status, and they got all buttmad because we found empty space, made something of it, and they bitched because we ruined the camping ground they sacrificed kids to and only inhabited for a couple months out of the year.
that's right, natives were already dying out into obscurity well before we built Jamestown.
