Just a heads up that the new-looking Battletech stuff on preowned minis store on eBay are recasts. The one Anon that bought a BD marauder and got had was right. I never noticed anything suspicious on the BD Strikers because the sculpt is simple enough to clean perfectly before recasting. I should have suspected since they weren't lead, but weirder things have stayed in production. Other stuff had double mold lines and some cracking in areas that cooled too quickly. They are good recasts, though. This person knows more about what they're doing than Dave ever did.

So plus side, I get to weed out the previous BD Striker fakes from my collection and know somebody I'm never going to buy from again.

Negative side, gotta eat $140+the striker cost, I don't want to have the return fight. I'll see if my buddy wants them. He doesn't care as much. If not, may raffle them to you guys as prizes or offer them as a prize to a tourney or something.
