Why is it still part of Finland? Geographically it's closer to Sweden and culturally and ethnically it's basically a Swedish ethnostate. What do they gain from being in Finland and what does Finland gain from having a bunch of (angry) Swedes within their borders that probably vote for the Swede party that might actually push that pro-reunification agenda seriously.
