Yes. McShits sucks ass these days, and cost way to much for the lack of quality and service.
I don't know about Europe, but here in the US much better options exist, like In-N-Out, Whatabuger, Culvers, Freddy's, Steak n Shake, if you travel here I encourage you to try them, they all blow mcShits out of the water.
I think McShits is more popular overseas than here in the US these days.

kubernetes exists because of shitty H1B developers
graphql exists because of shitty H1B database admins
the cloud in general exists because of shitty H1B IT Ops personnel

so to some extent the shittiness of H1B output places a market pressure on white/asian senior devs to build something that is more idiot proof

the thing is, technology was better when this pressure didn't exist, because the intra-company competition was much harsher and made more refined products for the end consumer (this is why all of the computers from the 90s "felt" faster, relative to the hardware, compared to now)

open source has destroyed the industry because it allows browns to hijack the effort of skilled white and asian devs.

hopefully china cutting themselves off will result in some really interesting innovation.
