It's a bit obvious considering both Yuta and Rika were originally the OG Yuji/Sukuna, I believe Gege said their dyanmic would have gone to dark places like implying Rika would later kill Yuta's sister. Rika's page in the fanbook is also littered with details that implied she was way more fucked up than was initially presented in the main story.
