They have the capacity to completely control our emotions, thoughts, beliefs, and actions. That doesn't mean they will, but they've completely verified this to me. They appear to mind control normal people for the purpose of our narratives and then put them back to normal again. They're either mindfucked or philosophoical zombies a lot of the time.
