Imagine a world where vatnikstan was actually Russia, a normal functioning nation state with normal european people. The amount of empty land they have with their resources alone would give them generational wealth making places like Norway look like poor euro countries. They could actually be at least a genuine great european power instead of the pretender they are. For us here instead of seeking patronage and help of deep westerners like west euros or americans, safely tucked away behind seven seas and mountains, mutually beneficial cooperation and even alliance with Russia would be a realistic option
