The problem is the result of that one nuke is the complete destruction of russia. And I mean literal, total, and final destruction. Russian language and culture will cease to exist outside a few pockets of diaspora, russia itself will become a footnote in history, and whatever bits of the country that are left will be colonized for resource extraction by others.
