I think at this point I'm just desperate for that feeling that someone wants me, I don't really care about the other way around since I've spent my whole life feeling love for others and it just results in pain and rejection.

I kinda get what you're saying that people associate being kind with being effeminate and will emasculate you over it, but then the converse must surely be true? Being an asshole is seen as masculine? So, in essence if you want women to see you as manly, treat them like shit? idk.
