Just depends on the price. If it's low enough, I'd upgrade from my PS5 at launch. Say, $500. if it's over $600 or $700, I may just ride out my PS5 for as long as I can.
DESU, I could probably skip the entire PS6 generation and just stick to the PS5 since I expect most games to be cross-gen. But I wouldn't mind an upgrade after 7 years of my PS5. Then in 2030, I'll upgrade to a proper gaming PC, though probably only mid-range one.
