if you need what tacet fields give you anyways, then it's easier to just do the run and collect the rewards. Tacet fields are faster but it's not doing two birds with one stone if you are just doing tacet fields instead of the gateway. If you already did the gateway and still need stuff from tacet fields, you can either do the tacet field (which is faster) or do the gate way which is similar to a tacet field, but the echoes it gives you are progenitor echoes, i.e. they are echoes that can be drawn from any tacet field instead which is helpful because they can be prefarmed for tacet fields that don't exist yet which will be released in future patches, whereas if you collect echoes from an actual tacet field, they are specific only to that tacet field
