No joke, posts like this and the entirety of Prydrwen makes me think that I'm missing something about the game and it actually has super deep combat that I didn't know about. Quickswap is complex and require a lot of skill to optimize, yes, but tell me, what exactly is complicated about Phrolova, Cantarella, Zani etc played vanilla. They all have one combo.
>Frog is to spam basic attack button then do red or purple when it glows up, repeat until forte gauge is full then ult, no timing required.

Like it's not that deep nigga you don't need 3000 words essay to describe how Phrolova work. It's not like having a specific combination of purple and red notes will trigger something special for Phrolova during her ult.
For most characters you don't have to keep track of how many and which buttons you have pressed, you just press the other button when it glows. I can only think of Danjin where she does 2 different combo based on the combination of BAttack and skill.

Depth in combat in this game generally stems from the "bad" characters, and characters whose kits don't normally belong together. Exactly nothing. I don't even try to get deep into kits before I learn which button does what animation for each character so I can identify wordslop descriptions easily, and even then mashing buttons while dodging typically works. There's no incentive for going deep outside of Tower.

I haven't done the epilogue that will clearly answer all our questions, but it seems this is more of a will to live thing. In the notes she obsesses over Rover finally coming to see her, to approve of what she's doing, and it never happens. When you finally meet up again, you are an antagonist to her (not really your fault, to be fair), and deny the path she's chosen. She views this as a betrayal of your last statement to her, and loses her will to carry on, finally succumbing to her near death state. We see her brush close to death multiple times during the patch and we save her, pulling her back. Of course, we both know she'll be fine and break out of the land beyond... somehow.

there's no reason to abandon the quests. Also, the cube event is completely poorly designed. You literally have to get lucky by picking the correct cubes as your echoes -- otherwise it's completely RNG. I tried about 4 different cube combinations until I gave up and looked it up, because there are several hidden mechanics in the event that aren't explained in text. Fore example, you must use the Shorekeeper cube, because each time you ult, you passively gain permenant crit damge or whatever for your entire team, and it stacks until the round ends. Basically you have to use Phoebe, Cartethyia, and Shorekeeper cubes, but the stupid game doesn't tell you that because the devs love pumping out their garbage events like it's a McDonald's drive through and the pigs here eat it up as if they're at the trough

now I see why the events suck so much -- there are so many retards who are gobbling them up. The only good events so far have been Phoebe Fishing Riccioli Islands, PoP, and BNF, not including any multiplayer events. The rest are filler busy work obstacles to prevent casual players from accruing astrite and making the regular players work on the treadmill for it. You are either fat and need to lose weight on the treadmill, or are skipping them, or are like me and like to experience all the events because I don't play other games really so I have a lot of extra time to play this one but it's a waste of time

There is no good gameplay in wuwa after you get full build characters it's all just busy work. There should be as little gameplay as possible before the next patch drops so I can enjoy the new story episode

If you already did the gateway and still need stuff from tacet fields, you can either do the tacet field (which is faster) or do the gate way which is similar to a tacet field, but the echoes it gives you are progenitor echoes, i.e. they are echoes that can be drawn from any tacet field instead which is helpful because they can be prefarmed for tacet fields that don't exist yet which will be released in future patches, whereas if you collect echoes from an actual tacet field, they are specific only to that tacet field

This game is called Gathering Wives for a reason. My recommendation with wuwa is if you decide to try it, stick to it until you reach the Black Shores because the story until that point is not great, but going through the story until you're caught up is a fun ride and at that point you can decide if you feel like continuing with it as a live service game. The game gives you trial characters for the story so you don't have to worry about being underleveled.

The (you) pandering in wuwa is one step away from being ML tier. Not on the level of snowbreak, but if rover decided to simply reciprocate romantic feelings, he would have a decently sizable stable of girls.
At the moment however, kuro is content to just jingle the keys in our faces. So they'll do stuff like have lupa treat rover like a good friend normally, but then have a scene where she's a little tipsy and more intimate. Where a touch lingers a little too long and shadows are played with to imply deeper feelings lurking just beneath the surface.

the dorm update in cn came attached with a skin gacha that in the worse case can cost over $200, dorm interactions like the one for wa's skin are in it.
