They are, and a lot of people who say old games are good simply don't play them. I make a point to keep servers for old games up and nobody plays in them, nobody to blame but themselves
There's also the new = better mentality, or that schizo shit where something newer being out makes your enjoyment of the old feel worse, mental illness
