i bet gabes pretty confused most of the time. the dude made billions by figuring out and making it possible for a mod of a commercially available game could be sold without violating copyright laws (counter strike), and tried to make it a legal thing and open up the ability to the masses. he tried to open up paid mods on steam and the entire internet basically rioted.
