The way up was blocked by numerous ghouls. Glowing ones too. Whatever happened up on top pushed the NCR all the way down the mountain. And what I wasn't expecting was a woman in a labcoat and heels screaming and crying as a ghoul was chasing her. I watched for a few seconds. I dunno it almost felt surreal. Plus she was doing a pretty good job of not dying. Anyhow I domed the freak and tried to talk to the lady. She stopped for a moment, cowering in the dirt, and then ran off in terror when she saw me standing there. I wanted to tell her to stop and that things would get even more dangerous down the road, but the words failed to leave my throat. Maybe I should've stopped her, maybe she knew how to work the satellite dish, but it was too late.
