Seems a bit much but depends how big a job it is.
Labour should be somewhere around £250 per person per day, top end. Installing kitchen units isn't that complicated if it's been designed to fit. it's like flat-pack, a monkey could do it, you don't need a qualified builder or carpenter but they will do a better job and cost a bit more.
5 day job x 2 installers = 5 x £500 = £2500 + extra £1500 for business expenses like transport time, van, fuel, insurance, tools, waste disposal etc. = £4000.
Looks like they'ere high-balling you because they don't really want the job.
