My biggest disappointment is how they botched Zeon winning. 0079 makes it very clear in the last quarter of the series that Gihren is a massive threat to humanity that needs to be stopped NOW. However, in the timeline where Zeon wins, he does nothing for a few years before getting offed like a chump in a poison gas attack.
Meanwhile, Kycilia decides to build a doomsday weapon to destroy Earth for...reasons, when 0079 never suggested she would do something like that.
