Don't forget
>Bandai US got together with Bandai Japan to produce a show aimed at US audiences
>What we wound up with was SD Gundam Force, which actually has a few interesting factoids on itself including being the first Gundam series released in the US first before releasing in Japan and the longest Gundam series by episode count
>Show is somewhat popular but the merch doesn't sell at all and the last half of the series isn't aired in the US
>Meanwhile up north in Canada, Seed actually finds success on YTV since it's airing uncensored without the disco guns and other major edits it had on Cartoon Network. It's such a success that they air Destiny a few years later
And a fun facts regarding the Gunpla side of things
>Bandai starts releasing HGUC kits in the US around the time they're airing 0079 (So like 2001/2)
>There's a few 0079-related kits they can put out like the Gundam and Guncannon, but no Zaku II (The HGUC wouldn't release for another year)
>Instead they took the 1/144 Zaku II mold from 08th MS Team and did it up in Char colors and released that
>Instructions are still japanese despite this version never being released outside of Japan
