Alrighty, Ballerina green part 2. At some point I'll upload it to AO3 for an archive, but not having a desktop/laptop makes things annoying. Nothing spicy yet. Btw, if anyone has any suggestions for a title I'm open. Nuggs named the last iirc?

>He takes your hand in his, not quite letting go as he leads you toward the dim glow of your cottage deep in the swampy shadows.
>Back inside you sit at the kitchen table, folding your hands primly.
>"Will you be going back to work tomorrow Daddy?" You ask softly.
>He glances back at you from the stove, stirring a pot bubbling with some sort of meat scented stew.
>"Mm... yes, cher. I've some early morning broadcasts to do. Why the question, you gonna miss me, sugar?"
>The smell of the food makes your stomach growl audibly. Like a hungry tiger clawing to escape.
>"Mm, yeah. I'll do my studies while you're at work then." You pause for a long moment, as if weighing up the cons in your mind as to whether you will continue, then, softly...
>"I'm hungry Daddy."
>Alastor hums softly, tilting the pot away from his daughter.
>"Ah, I'm going to need you to wait just a bit longer. That food is for a grown man, not such a delicate flower."
>He moves with lithe grace around the table, taking the seat next to you before leaning in close.
>He tucks a stray lock of your hair behind your ear, his hand grazing your cheek.
>"Patience is a virtue, sweet girl. You've already gone all day without supper, you're not starving just yet." He chides.
>He watches your eyes dart from the pot to his face and back again, a hint of satisfaction in his smile.
>He knows the scent is tempting you, the way the soup bubbles with rich, meaty goodness. But it's not for you...yet.
