Yes, it's real. My city, Plovdiv, used to have snow and ice every winter. It was normal for temperatures to drop below -10. I remember winters when we had -20 That hasn't been the case for 10+ years now. We almost never get snow and the temperatures are rarely below -1 or -2. And the summers are getting hotter and hotter.
