That is NOT how that works, yokai is a catch all term for various beings in japanese mythology, for example oni are demons, but something like a tanuki isnt, and i can say with factual knowledge that yamawaro are NOT demons they essentially fall under the classification of "monster", theres nothing hellish or demonic about them
