The only truly BAD piece of voice acting I can think of that early is Sonetto.
I genuinely can't imagine half of the cast without their accents or speech quirks.
Jessica for example is fucking adorable and her voice adds to this, the japanese version probably sounds fine but it isn't Jessica.
