>SotE is kind of unique in how it doesn't resolve much of anything
Nonsense, quit lying
>Miquella, Radahn and Battle of Aeonia resolved
>Explains a lot about Malenia's origins, asceticism, manipulating spirits, Eiglay, the role of Death and rebirth with the Shaman Villages
>Explains the origin of the Omen curse, what the Crucible actually is
>Explains the era before the Age of the Erdtree in detail, including the ruins of the greater civilization responsible for the golems, great structures and divine towers that share architecture with Rauh
You must be a mindbroken retard to lie like this, Shadow of the Erdtree is the biggest, most complete and most mandatory DLC. You can't understand Rennala referencing spiritstones if you haven't found them later in the Realm of Shadow where the real larval tears grow among those spirit graves, as Death naturally flows into it, you can't understand how births and rebirths worked before Marika completely bypassed the system and veiled the entire zone. You can't even understand that Grace used to be Sunlight and that is why all gravekeepers use lamps and before the Erdtree the next other Sacred Tree was a lamplight
I get that it's the hip thing to seethe at Shadow of the Erdtree because it's only the 5th Miyazaki DLC that completely defied common fanbase headcanon and you couldn't predict what it would be about. But it's a fucking great DLC, outselling alone Sekiro, so cope about it
