Nah. The imagery is clear that half of his 6 eyes were crying was because actually half of him still loved his brother. It’s really bizarre that Koku is the ONLY demon written with this level of complexity but that’s down to this being a trashy paint-by-numbers shounen where the mangaka really only had a character concept for Koku, I guess because (s)he really wanted to do Kenshin.
