I have no real issues with meta as a concept but I find that a lot of game metas are often arbitrarily enforced and usually dictated by forum nerds and ecelebs that only look at things in absolutes. I've had too many situations where a weapon or character I liked would get me bitched at until some faggot influencer said it was good and then the people that were being catty are suddenly about about it. I think a lot of gamers have fear of being wrong or making mistakes and it's not healthy.
