Definitely, I've done a lot of reading through the forums on it. Looks like my best option for suppression is a smith ent threaded sight adapter or just a thread adapter, adjustable gas plug from schuster or Fulton, and maybe a new piston from Sadlak. No idea what can I'd use yet, I like the Rugged 3 port brake and their .30 cal options but I'm leaning towards SF brake and can for this.
That's IF the bore alignment is good, if bore alignment is off then I'm fucked unless I get a new barrel.
No idea still what optic I'll end up getting, I like some of the 2.5-10x options but all are out of my price range for the year. Mounting options are as numerous as they are expensive, leaning towards the M14.ca mount if I end up getting a can. Apparently the BFA kit has a nifty little chamber cover that redirects gas pretty effectively without obstructing ejection, and covers the chamber a little better; the only mount that works in tandem with it to my understanding is the M14.ca mount, but that involves removing the rear sight completely just to install it. I don't really like how it looks but desu it's looking like the best option overall.
