No, it's supposed to emulate TFC but extremely badly, because in TFC even at its worst dirt only slid like that WHEN WET plus TFC has extra stability mechanics - if a block is supported from below plus at least 2 other sides, it won't slide - this way you can build 1-thick cobble/dirt walls or 2x2 pillars by using a scaffold, or in 1.7.10 directly because the slide is delayed.
Speaking of TFC's mechanics, has anyone made a "water needs 2 rather than 3 adjacent blocks to make ful block" mod for VS yet? Making/repairing ponds is obscenely painful otherwise. If not,
then at least install "harvest lake ice with saw" mod.

But why? You can craft dough with stacked buckets, and if Expanded Foods is going to be in as host indicates then you'll also want to craft it in mixing bowl instead for broth nutrition. So all it does is make you require double the actions for making ale.
