Because we got uncensored Gal*Gun, Omega Labyrinth, Genkai Tokki, Senran Kagura, etc. all on the Switch globally up until 2023. Hell, the Mugen Souls games didn't have an uncensored version available in the west until the Switch versions. Then it all abruptly came to a halt and now we can't even have T-rated Neptunia any more and all-ages Kanon has to be chopped down to almost nothing to release outside of Asia.
